Mainstream Mormons believe God was a polygamist. Mainstream LDS believe the highest level of glory in heaven is men become Gods and have many wives to populate their own planet which they rule over. Does this sound like Christianity to you? FLDS cult groups are the legacy of self proclaimed prophet and child molester Joseph Smith. Read Doctrine and Covenants 132 where Joseph smith threatens his own wife with 'destruction' if she doesn't support his polygamy. lds god nothing to do with God. amen.

@MultiHannah1995 I love that book! It was just so powerful, and it really was a page turner... Some thing I just couldn't believe actually happened. Not to make light of the situation and things that occurred.

I appreciate Carolyn's courage, as well as the courage of all the other people who have made or attempted their escape from an oppressive community such as this one. It was interesting to see the stony looks upon the faces of the congressmen. Reminds me of the Anita Hill hearings...
