Bueno, bueno...
¡FELICITACIONES AMIGO!... y ¡MUCHOS EXITOS!.
Un saludo desde Bogotá, -COLOMBIA-.

WOW !!!!!!!!! This song is VERY rare to find on the internet. What a gem, Youtube!
You know, my friend is said to have literally stopped a riot in San Francisco back in the 1980s with nothing more than his upright-style bamboo flute and the melody this guy is playing ... Kachapari !!! What an ancient yet moving melody!!! Gotta love the music of the Andean people !!!!!!!

@fringedlunatic613 Thanks for the feedback! I'm impressed someone stopped a riot with this song! That's awesome. I do love Andean music!

In reality the name of the song is not Kacharpari. That was just the name a group called Urubamba gave it for copyright and recording purposes. The true name of the song is Balsero Del Titicaca. It was composed by Rosendo Huirse, not Jorge Huirse. But it was Jorge that later recorded it.

Wow, thanks for the info! That's great to know. I first heard the Urubamba version in the mid-1960s when I first visited the Andes. Thanks to you I'm listening to other versions of the song on YouTube and really enjoying them.

That was really good, but why in the "How to" section?

Ha, good catch! I'm not big on categories. Maybe it is a "how to" for some viewers?
