  • @Geostrategic1 Senator McCarthy was a right wing reactionary idiot who wanted his name in the papers and his face on the cover of every magazine. Bush and Co. were a lot worse than anything the Present administration has ever done. McCarthy would fit right in with the teabaggers because they(like himself) were pretending to be for the average American .

  • Republicans are about to launch hearings to twist facts again.

  • Lulz McCarthy be trolling.

  • lol, joe mccarthy calling some one "sanctimonious". what an idiot. i love symington's response, "you gotta go to a psychiatrist". lmao! he took that blowhard mccarthy down.

  • This scumbag went down in flames. None of the people he went after were charged, he ruined lives, had people deported all for political purposes. There is a reason this scumbag went down in flames and died an early death. I can't believe the Republicans still defend this slimebag.

  • @Suprkit Let us place the situation in its proper economic perspective regardless of political parties and state clearly it was the policies of Goldman Sachs cronies which controlled economic policy during the end of the 2nd Bush term (Paulson) and that very ruinous financial agenda was and is continuing under Obama. Soon we shall all pay via hyper-inflation and a crashing stock market, while the Goldman market manipulator types continue getting filthy rich off the expense of the public.

  • @Geostrategic1 I am not a "commie" I'm just as American as you are. Bush messed up the country, and the President is trying to fix it(no thanks to the Republicans). LOL

  • @lsg6571 Thank you Sir! You need to beginning tuning in yourself.

  • @professor1966 Regrettably when one drinks one does not always act in a proper manner. Even in stating that, McCarthy was indeed correct on his investigative premise that there were communist spies and hard-core Red traitors working in various agencies of the American government. Today he would have a stroke! :) Those that attack him today are likely the very same type who should be investigated today, beginning from the White House on down.

  • @Suprkit Ahhh not more of this rambling nonsense from the far left = you! Tail gunner would have asked you the same questions he asked the other commies. LOL

  • @Geostrategic1 I agree; McCarthy WAS right; there was and still is subversion in our government. What I DON'T agree with was the way he dealt with it; in proclaiming people's guilt and eliminating their rights to a fair trial, McCarthy constantly ignored due process of law. That sort of thing still flies in the face of every principle this nation was founded upon.. I don't believe in guilt by association, and I certainly don't believe in a person being "guilty unless proven innocent"

  • I stopped listening to NPR years ago. I have no use for biased/trash talk radio on the left or right.
