I get that feeling about Canberra Lol. Scary place :) I know exactly what you mean. I'd love to go to Magic Island. Youtuber Shaun lives there. I hear it is stunning. Geoff is an angel. Without him I'd be lost :) He rocks.

I have only been there once in the mid eighties. Things have probably changed since then, but you know what it's like. You either have a good feeling about somewhere and like it immediately, or you don't. I liked the people, but I just loved going over to Mag Is. Townsville itself I found to be a bit of a yawn and too bloody muggy..
