This song has the pissed off energy of Mellon Collie, the darkness of Adore, the social commentary of Machina, and the apocalyptic weight of Zeitgeist. In fact this is what Zeitgeist was missing dark energy.

@jsh020 nice! it would be cool if he changed the name of this song and it was on oceana.
-
@JousterinJudge he wont when it comes out, hes already said he isnt gonna use synth for oceania, we probably heard synth cause those were the only song where they fit, though i could hear some sort of synth in gossamer honestly

Billy is the fucking man! Keep rocking man, you're doing awesome.

The videos from this show are pretty good (well shot, and sounds really good), shows the band has energy, hope it translates to the album thats coming...his singing always has more emotion live and is more interesting to listen to - i think so, on the recent recordings and alot of their albums the mix doesn't sound good - they don't have a sound as big as this - this is much more full of life, attack and edge.

@claudiofimiani The drummer is now one of my influences

@JousterinJudge Hey, dude just tweeted it's not going to be recorded so thats good news.
-
if he puts synth in this song i will hang myself.

As Rome burns to the motherfucking ground!
Fuckin Jeff gets the fuck on it at the end! It's so good to see how he has grown with Billy these last few years. At first I could see that he was all about perfect practiced timing (because they practice all the time), but now I see that he gets it. He's really reaching for something live that makes him a real part of the Smashing Pumpkins! Way to go Jeff! Keep the solos coming!
