guess i dont know the cls55 i just have one.. however my friend has a 331 coupe and i have raced him and it was no where close. so if that is the case the benz is not hitting the gas.

@chris7716 - the benz would hit the gas... keep in mind.. these are like 0 - 80 runs... at 80 mph.. he takes off like a rocket... the bmw is quick and nimble... CLS55 = torque monster.

One car is 178" Long, and the other is 193". Do you even consider these cars in the same class?

Mercedes will never compete with BMW when it comes to speed and handling. (Unless you're talking 7 series)

@AMGkompressor20 so now we are actually 2 years later and there have barely been any engine failures.... you can say the same thing about the 55k motors. Why do people change the pulleys to increase boost? obviously the engine wasnt designed for that much boost...

@raannathr333 I just sold my full bolt on 417whp e92 335i and im looking to get into either a rs4, cls55 or e60 m5. Im 23 and enjoy cars that handle well and are fun to drive. is the cls55 really that boring? your making me second guess myself. any input would be greatly appreciated.

you really like your AMG that much huh??

I sold the 335i, bought an 06 cls55, put about 5k into the engine to hit 575 lbtq and 497 rwhp... and I miss the 335i...

and don't forget, to put a 335 into the 11's 1/4 mi, only takes about 4 - 5 k, at the most... don't under-estimate them. they're pretty sweet and handle much better than the cls55, this is something you cannot deny.

btw, ive been 193mph in the cls after the mods... scaaary fast.

lol... btw, i sold the 335i and now drive a cls55... i bought the cls55 for 45k... the car is boring, can't handle and is good for only a straight line... want to buy it? i want my 335i back.
