what an AMAZING jump..her reaction and the crowd's upon her landing is awesome..i love the look on her face as soon as she knows she cleared the jump..interesting how she almost over-rotates on the landing and she holds on to it w/ every muscle in her body!!!!!!!! awesome triple axel..most men could not ever get that much air!!!!! GO MIDORI!!

Yes, this was 2 years before Tonya successfully completed her 3Axel attempt at the 1991 US National Championships.

then.... comes mao asada.
but i must say, sasha is no doubt THE best ever. her spirals are unbeatable. even nowadays, some ppl might have her flexiblity, they might not have the passion SHOWN on the ice.
atheletically, midori is historical AND progressive for her time. her record lasted for two decades (i'm sayin the triple axel) and i'm not counting the stupid tonya harding incident. She's buff and powerful, but not overall.
