What's amazing about her is that she didn't have much advanced training that the skaters have today, but yet, she was able to jump that well.... And this is over 20 years ago.... so it's like having 4A jumper in ladies today...

Ando--> 3lz-3loop(used to be able to.. hope she'll bring back)
Asada-->3A-2T.
I think Mao's the closest to Ito, but still, Ito had 3A-3T! amazing...

Not only is she the best women's technical skater I have ever seen, she also seems to have one of the nicest and most pleasant personalities of all the women's skaters. Some of them seem to act like real diva's on and off ice, but Midori seems to be very real and just plain NICE.

what an AMAZING jump..her reaction and the crowd's upon her landing is awesome..i love the look on her face as soon as she knows she cleared the jump..interesting how she almost over-rotates on the landing and she holds on to it w/ every muscle in her body!!!!!!!! awesome triple axel..most men could not ever get that much air!!!!! GO MIDORI!!
