Denis Somoso is a big fan of Zorro. He was so impressed to see this nice and very impressive story with Filipino - Spanish languages. The revised story of "Zorro" is now popular as action/drama series of GMA network TV, Philippines (Zorro- Philippine Version)

What we are looking for here is the thought of the story. The Spain indeed didn't make the Philippines into a better nation but just to exploit its resources for more than 300 years. Supposed to be the spain would pay the Philippines for such abused for the equivalent of 300 years. If the Philippines could find a good leader to give sanction against spain and delete the past then it could be great. Spanish regime in Luzviminda Sabah is really really bad.

Philippine Version of Zorro reflects the past of the Philippines during the Spanish regime in the past..

Um.....it looks good but um what's with the baby face? can't grow a mustache? are mustaches out of style? why must newer version of zorro gotta look like he could go back to high school?

Honestly, filipino television looks good, but it needs better writing, more human characters and realistic relationships. This show would have been awesome if the acting wasn't so stiff and writing so thin. But I think filipino television is the way it is because there's so much of it, and I'm sure these actors work insane hours, I don't know.

From what I gather the premise of the show is that the Spanish/American Diego De La Vega (the original Zorro), supposedly goes from his home in Spanish California to the Philippines, and supposedly passes the Zorro mantle to a young Philippino guy.
