I hate how this trailer tells us that Smooth Criminal is in the game, and its not, in D Pad Hero 2, Ain't Talking About Love by Van Halen is in the intro, and Metallica's ''My Friend of Misery'' intro bass line is at the menu, non of these songs made it into the setlist, No Michael Jackson,no Van Halen, No Metallica, why tease them? is it for Dpad Hero 3?

@dpadhero I'm not a lawyer, but I'd imagine this would be transformative enough to qualify for a fair use exception to copyright law.

@tepples Hehe, those are not the only ones that would sue... We're giving away the game for free, and it's meant as a tribute to the artists featured, but in lawyer land I realize that's probably irrelevant. As with the first game, we have not sought out the rights to song material, but will take out content upon request. We can appeal to a smaller niche of players by using public domain folk songs instead.

I have an NES Advantage joystick. Its start button is on the right side of the B and A buttons. Any chance of making a mode that swaps Start-B-A for B-A-Start?

@tepples We used to have a screen where you could configure all the buttons, but removed it since we figured 99.9% of those playing would use an emulator and configure the buttons there.
I didn't even consider the Advantage controller; it's probably going to cause some grief due to the placement of the Select button as well.
We're not adding back the config screen at this point, but I can make a custom build. Just drop me a mail with a preferred config once the game is out.
