The real trades and industries that Britain rely on aren't at DMU mate. Things like law and banking (evil i know) which if you look at tax revenue account for 35% of government takings! Traditional trades like plumbing are real trades, not wasting years on film making when you have no talent at all! Such pointless courses waste tax payers money as it is we who have to fund student loans and grants for degrees that will be of no help to this country in the long term

What i meant was if i went to DMU i would not have a job with the firm i do- of the 120 people who gained training contracts in my year not one went to DMU. I bet if you looked at how much they earn on average i imagine DMU would be very near to the bottom of the list...

Gok Wan hasn't exactly achieved world peace or anything memorable has he? Has Morgan Tsvangiri changed zimbabwe yet? No. I don't see the point of pointless universities like De Montford which just drag people into debt and leave them with pointless pieces of paper. If i did law at DMU instead of Durham then guess who wouldn't have the job they have today....

The film industry don't want wasters with inflated ego's.... De Montford produces no graduates that excel academically at all- it shouldn't be a university. If you want design go to a proper uni! I went to Durham and believe me their graduates will go on to far better careers than some 3rd rate E grade student will at De Montford. Nobody applies to De Montford unless they can't get in anywhere else! Generic universities don't exist- they all have massive variety

your uni sucks- its not even a uni in most people's eyes. It's a glorified polytechnic which needs about 1E at Alevel to get into! Great enjoy mickey mouse land but what job are you going to get with a pointless piece of paper? Especially in a recession....
