On the day of his retirement, police officer Roy Compton's daughter is shot in a bank robbery. His wife then takes her own life through grief. Helpless, he watches on as his daughter's killers escape trial. Roy ultimately decides to take matters into his own hands, influenced by an unknown source via phone. His redemption holds the key to him understanding his torrid military past.
