Overview of the original Parker P-44 guitar. This guitar was the most popular of the P-series introduced by Parker. With the same body style as the Parker Fly, the guitar also has piezo and coil-splitting outputs like the more expensive guitar as well.

  • What does "18 to 1" tuners mean?

  • It is a ratio in the gears in the tuning mechanism. The higher the ratio, the more precise control you have over tuning the guitar.

  • I this a light guitar or is it very heavy

  • Light guitar, 6 -7 lbs.

  • @Ynehc If you had a chance to buy one for $400, I hope you snatched it up! No question that it is worth considerably more. I have a lower-end Parker (PM20) that I bought new for $330 and I absolutely love it! I have 5 electrics of various types, but the Parker is my favorite for both playability and tone.

  • I might buy one of these today anyone know if they are made in us? and if its worth 400?

  • @InterspeciesErotica7 I've just had a look at some pics and I can see where you are coming from! however if you take a secondary look this parker has the two covered pups accompanied by the two toned trem that is similar to the ones PRS use :) thats all i meant by my comment.

  • @AlexJCThompson1992 - More like a korean made Parker NiteFly... well, older NiteFly's

  • it basically looks like PRS and Parker got together and built one guitar...

  • i have a ernie ball music man silhouette and i wish i found these guitars before i bought that because i really like the sound of the piezo and it has everything my guitar has :( feels bad man.

  • I own this guitar in red....it's amazing! Bought it off ebay and couldn't be happier, found it for around 450.

  • Serious question; can you play this guitar if you have breasts?
