I really like all of your videos, it's nice seeing this from inside the cab, completely different view from the outside. Also nice seeing the skills that you can acquire over time and the little tricks that you utilize throughout your day with the machine. Thanks for posting the great videos!

@Cranedude21 It was much more exciting when I was dozing mud off the side and the weight of the D10N caused part of it to collapse. Went steep enough that it wouldn't back up the pile (tracks just slipped). I was going to just put my foot up on the dash and 3rd gear it to the bottom but I had been dozing almost liquid mud off the side for 2 days so I would have sunk up to the cab when I hit the bottom.
Luckily we had a spare D10 and a cable =D

Vantagetes, you worked on this excavator with the partner? It in the afternoon, you at night and on the contrary?
KHVEDOR 1 year ago
@KHVEDOR No just one operator. In the winter the day light is short so we start (7am) in the dark and finish (6pm) in the dark.

what time do you got to go to work dude?
walston410 1 year ago
@walston410 Usually on site for 630am, start work at 7am. This was taken in the fall so the first 30-40 minutes of work are in the dark before the sun comes up.
