Yeah, I am still here :) Are you also in Sweden?

Hey I just saw that you are/have been in Sweden? Are you still in Sweden (I am)?Listened to your piece with your pictures, very nice...

Hi yes, you are right, but I need si-bekar for the other pieces we are playing in our local mini group =).
Love this piece, another awesome piece is Meshkatians Khazan, if you can find a setar/tar player to play it with, you'll be in heaven =D

Hej!
I believe you do not need Si-Bekar in this piece. As you see in this video, he also does not use Si-Bekar. So, take Yellow Si as Si-koron, and White and Poshte kharak az Si-Bemol, and enjoy playing it :)

Shad bashin!
Hi, I am trying to learn this piece myself, and wondered how you tuned your santour. The problem I am finding is that you need both
"si- be kar", "si- be moll", "si- koron", if you try to play with a base in "shour-re" or rather its corresponding dashti...
Thank you for submitting these videos, much appreciated.

The white si was tuned si-bemol and the yellow one was tuned si-koron. I hope that helps.

how often do you practice and who is your ostad
soroush23 3 years ago
During the first 10 years of intensive training with Master Faramarz Payvar, I practiced 10,000 hours in total (about 3 hours every day). Now after 24 years of playing the santur, I only need 3 hours per week to keep up my skills.
