2.5 times body weight legit full squat will get you to 40 inch standing vertical and if you're bit more reactive or explosive, that will do run up of 46 inches. If you're not playing sport or playing sport with not much jumping, you may add plyo.
Again, Weight training + plyo (complex workout).

dunno why you give credit to stretchexpertcom but that nigger got simplistic and sometimes counterproductive approach and sell snake oils to vertical. You don't really need programs like jump manual however they sure have some sound knowledge. Guys I knew who squat twice body weight at least ones a week while in season playing their sport, had gotten a lot in it, for instance a 40 inch running vertical is compatible at 2x weight squat if you're bit more reactive or explosive.

yo how are the results goin how many inches you gain and how tall are you? i started and after 2 weeks one inch but i am goin to restart only b/c i havent had time 2 do it how many inches do you tihnk ill gain i only have a vert of 18 inches and 5'9

i might have exagerated abit with the 40% part. i dnt know exactly the % but i can tell u that before streching i was only reaching the rim with my wrist but now that i introduced the strechin program i can almost reach the rim with my elbow .
