the 2003 ford tauras is not intended for speeding, although the 2011 is coming with turbo may be more for speed.

@n8bolton ok ill take the 200 :) hahaha and i will say it is around 200 cuz i raced a like 03 eclipse smoked that ....and like a 08 or 09 ford focus ( the upgraded sports one) and beat that even though they had a head start of like 5 car lengths ... but its not really fair cuz dere 4 cyl's .. but for a big family car like da taurus ill take it as a win haha

@hyr0llr i think the Vulcan was sumwhere around 150-170 hp and the Duratec was at 200. my parents have a 2000 Taurus with the 3.0 Duractec that i drive quite frequently. its a 24 valve DOHC. if you a have that engine you should be rollin up around 200 hp and lbs ft give or take a bit. but 155 sounds like a Vulcan. but the Vulcan was also a 3.0L 24 valve. and it does put out around 150 hp.

@n8bolton you say the 3.0 duratec has 200 hp but how cum errtime i look up mine it says 155 ?? i have a 2002 24v DOHC ...is it 155 or 200??

bad launch.....next time if you ever race. do the stall test (push the brakes with left foot and WOT with right foot) then slide the left foot off ur brake pedal and bam, launch control, haha
