Of course it sounds aggressive...Blues wouldn't be blues if the singer was happy! Same logic applies to Metal.
Not putting your opinion down either, though. Each to his own. Not everyone's gonna like every kind of music, but I still like to keep an open mind. Try different forms of Metal (the "all sounds the same" stereotype isn't true), and if you still don't like it, you tried and didn't shut it out totally.
Anyway, I'm rambling, so I'll shut up. This album is my favorite of 2008, though.

It's not the point of hurt you... Heavy Metal is violent because the lyrics must go with the sound of the songs, which in most case is very thick and ominous. Of course, there are many subgenres of metal which are more melodic and soft: for example, try listening to Ayreon or Dream Theater or something like that if you don't want the heavy stuff.

Love how they changed the second intro riff in verse 1a by adding two chords, sounds great. Also, the solo is awesome. Also, the game.

I love this band, They are from my home state... WEWT... but unfortunately there is a problem... they had some creative differances... and have disbanded... whether they will settle them or not, there are fans that will be left wanting more.
