@RandomMantheawsome all those where comics before being adapted.
-
@RandomMantheawsome robin's death was in the comics too, thats why bat mite said "guess how i voted"

there were not just references to the comics but other batman sagas as well
unstopable fore vs immovable object/The Dark Night
The Joker's utility belt/Batman the orginal series
laghing fish/Batman the animated series
Jason Todd's death/Batman Under the Redhood

I'm more happy about the reference to "The Laughing Fish" always loved that story (both the original comic, and the batman tas adaptation). I wish they had referenced "The Killing Joke" though, that story was just as important as "A Death In The Family".

gotta love batmite =D

Batman: Jee, thanks for reminding me of one of the top five most painful experiences of my life. AND for letting me know that you in the fifth dimension voted in order to kill a child for your entertainment. If you'll excuse me, I'll be searching for a way to entrap you forever.
Batmite: Uhm ... shouldn'thavementionedthatBYE!

@CobaltBlueHawk I don't personally know what continuity they're using anymore. Especially with the line wide reboot.
And that was supposed to SIMPLIFY continuity. It just makes things even more complicated! DX

@Bluecho4 I thought that continuity got retconned, and switched out for the Ra'as and the lazarus pool canon. I heard there was more than one version, but i'm not sure which is accepted. Help?
Deadpool + Batman + Tinkerbell = Batmite

@MsLunadea Yeah they'd have a bloodied, clothes-ripped robin on a kids show
