This video presents the churches in northern Orange County and southern Ulster County that I have visited as part of my search for a new church home between the beginning of February and the end of July 2009. I have visited (and therefore included here) representative congregations from all the major Christian traditions, as they are present in my search area. The only Christian churches I have not visited (and therefore not included here) are duplicates of churches I have visited.

I set the visual survey of these churches to "Psalm 95 (Come Worship the Lord)" written and sung by John Michael Talbot from his Come to the Quiet CD.

  • The mailing address for the Church of All Saints of Russia is Pine Bush, but it is actually located in a section of the Town of Shawangunk—a section marked on my local map as Dwaarkill. That fact was confirmed by a friend of mine who is a neighbor of that church. (The church is in Ulster County, but Pine Bush itself is in Orange County.)
