I thought I'd try out the new, improved fluid simulator in Blender 2.42. I'm glad I did. This was fun to make. Rendered with the internal Blender renderer and edited in Edit Studio 4.

  • how do you make the fluid less gooey, and more like water?

  • @ThePyroProduction I think a lot of it has to do with getting the time of the simulation correct and the physical size of the domain correct. If your simulation fills half a meter squared and lasts for 10 seconds (or 250 frames where I come from), make sure you set the domain size to 0.5 and the start time to 0 and end time to 10. Then it should behave like real water.

  • One of the better Blender Fluid Sims

  • Thanks :)
