This is a recreation of the introductory movie credits for "The Godfather." I use images of things most important and relevant to the plot and characters in the movie, which consist of New York, family, crime scenes, police, and mugshots of known "mobsters" who were arrested in the 1950's. I also use a similar style from scenes and trailers for the movie by slowly fading in and out between credits and reducing almost everything to only black and white with heavy contrast and grain to give it more of an aged look. And to tie everything together, I used the song "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra, who was said to associate with mafia figures during that time period. There is even a character in "The Godfather" who was directly modeled after Sinatra, which he was not too happy about. So, I bought that song specifically to use for this video. Unfortunately, YouTube won't play the audio, so if you have the song on iTunes, i suggest you play it while you watch.
