  • Who's the kid standing between Little Richard

    and Eddie Cochran?

  • Alice Lesley or a similar name, this is a picture from the 1957 Australia tour, check the list of artists who toured and you will find her :)

  • A very classic country-western tune by Eddie Cochran. Oh boy, where do you got all that stuff from? Did you experience Eddie when he was still alive?

  • I got all these songs from CD releases, most of them I bought on the internet :)

And no, I was not born yet back in the 50s...What about you, you seem to be a big Eddie Cochran fan? Were you there when Eddie was alive?

  • hey ! where can we get this picture ?

  • I've had it on my computer for a long time, I don't remember where I got it, sorry...you want me to email it to you?

  • That looks like Charline Aurther. check her out if you like Rockabilly!!!

  • this cat was definintly west u.s. electric music and hawai influenced.

  • The steel player sounds like Jerry Byred, whom I believe wrote the song, and who is the steel player on Hank Williams' "I'm so Lonesome I Could Cry."

  • Eddies Guitar sounds a lot like Jerry Byrd's

  • cheers for this,,u ever get down chippenham,,50 years next year,,,ever lisen to darrel higham,,

  • it's from a rockstar CD. This year Bear family published a 8 cd's box set of Eddie cochran included a 196 pages booklet

  • Yeah, Eddie's cover of the Milk Cow Blues by Kokomo Arnold, is based on the version by Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Nobody in the States ever mentions Eddie when they list artists who have covered the Milk Cow Blues.

  • I don't have much use for the country music of today, but this is great, and people like Hank Williams, and Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys, though modern country I do like is Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson. Great post, thanks.
