A set of 4 magnets, all the same polarity, are fixed to a shaft which is inside a sliding magnetic shielding sleeve. Above is a rotor with 4 magnets in it,[ 2 north, 2 south ],which is free to rotate. In this position with the magnetic shielding sleeve covering the fixed magnets, the rotor above is able to move freely. However, when the magnetic shielding sleeve is retracted, the rotor magnet immediately realigns itself with an opposite polarity magnet below. This demonstrates that the magnetic shield is reducing the magnetic effect of like poles repelling each other. The magnetic shielding sleeve is made of soft iron which is iron that does not retain magnetism after being in contact with a magnet.
It has a designation of C1018.

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing The magnetic shielding sleeve is made of soft iron which is iron that does not retain magnetism after being in contact with a magnet.

  • @greenearthnazi20204u Springs slow up the process.

  • @greenearthnazi20204u i am sorry and you are missing a spring in a mechanical magnet
