99 Honda Civic - Diamond 12 Inch Subwoofer

Went out to B's Audio's to get my subwoofer

inside the car
12" Diamond Sub ($70)
12" Ported Enclosure ($60)
400 Watt Jensen Amp ($70)
Wiring Kit ($20)
Infinity Front and rear speakers

I didnt put the SI on the Car nor did i put the DOHC Decal on it. it was on the car when i got the car. I kinda like it but i do not care about the type of motor. especially when i am going to be tuning this motor to run better than a DOHC

Edit: I am Engine Swapping the Car into a 95 Acura Integra DOHC so i am not turbo or supercharging the car

Did you do all the wiring yourself? Nice set up. I just turned 16 and got my first job today. In a few months i'm getting a Honda Civic myself and putting a new sound system in it. What would you recommend?

yea i did all the wiring myself.

i would recomend a Diamond Sub with a Jensen 400 Watt amp or higher

(should be jensen)

also get a ported box because a ported box will produce more than a non ported box would.

really i would just recomend my set up because its very nice and dependable

@Thrash05 That's not really too much money. It is a little pricey but I might even get 2 subs when it's time. Not sure. Would take about a month to save all the money but I think it'd be worth it. Thanks for the info! My moms boyfriend has a cobalt that's got engine mods, exhaust, minor body work, new wheels and tires, and a sound system so I think he's gonna help me with my car. He'll probably show me how to do the wiring.

The wiring isnt to hard but it is nice to have someone to help. I still havent got to the point where i have dont engine mods, body kits etc etc but i will get there.

Completely worth every penny.

it doesnt hurt the car at all if you wire everything accordingly and properly but it will drain the battery in time. if you plan on getting a system make sure to charge your car batter on a charger or by leaving your car on for awhile at least once a month so that your battery doesnt die.
