  • LOVE YOUR PLAYING...my wife plays bass and the first time she saw this she was blown away so i told her I would look for something on youtube so she could learn...i couldn't have gottten a better hit.......i loved your dad ..awesome player..we all miss him...

  • This is one very nice comment, thanks so much for writing! I appreciate all kind words on me, and my father or grandfather's playing. If you guys ever want to see anything specific song wise for a learning purpose or anything feel free to post a request on here or leave me a message!

    Thanks again!

    JT :)

  • Very nice playing , you said you use supernil nylon strings? Are they all nylon or just the D and the G string? The reason I ask is because that is how mine are, which is great but the E and the A is steel and I find it harder to slap.

  • @condemned72 Theyre nickel plated E and A strings, with nylon cores.

Theyre not too bad with the thickness of them, and stretch well with the pulling of tone.

  • slap is not bluegrass, but i slap when not playing bluegrass

  • well, to each their own...id rather think you can slap a bass to any style music if you put your mind to it wether be rock, blues, bluegrass, hip hop, pop, anything...even a waltz, which is very aggravating to most people ha ha ha...
