@Killyoudeadnstuff This album is from 1999 which is the year Metallica and Megadeth had albums after they went down from their early days of metal, Metallica had already done this with Load in 1996 but 1999 was also the year Megadeth's Risk came out which was too mainstream, this is more Nu Metal so I guess that's kinda better but not for true Machine Head fans

Fuck! This is horrible. Proto-Backstreet boy metal
-
@themodernguitarist Well, if it can then this is it!

Didn't know "Nu metal" and "quality" could be said in the same sentence.
-
This might not sound like modern Machine Head w/ Demmel but you have to admit it is quality Nu Metal.

HAHAHAHA when to this day until i saw the video i though this was spineshake, wow this is bad
Ok i know nobody will like to read this but, this is the soung that made me know Machine Head. At the time (1999) i thought it totaly rock....and i still think today, Burning red is a great album. At the time they Definlty try to surf on the Nu Metal wave...and it work. I mean, without this i wouldnt knew Machine Head. But yeah Locust, The Blacknening, Throught the Ashes of Empire are just awesome !!! Yet i still listen to burning red to this day...please dont throw rock at me !
