I've got the same problem with the hands, but have none of the problems you have with the snowshoes or the backpack...both are just fine. And once you have the backpack on, Polly sits quite nicely (her feet don't grasp, but she sits quite comfortably) on the backpack by the canteen. My Joes are just out on display (not played with), and this figure is definitely one of the best looking that I have.

1:55 "Go Whaling?" Lol!! Thanks for this review dude. I picked up mine last week. I mean, like it was the last one left on the shelf. Anyway, thanks for saving me some time on opening this figure. I'll probably leave him boxed. The detail is indeed pretty cool. Thanks for pointing out the flaws.

i just got him thing about mines but the backpack got his back fine but his hands come off but polly can fit on his thumb with one of his claws
