i miss that x-man, oakley, ewing team. anyone remember detroit/new york in round 1 of the playoffs that year? world war iii... most physical series i've ever seen. in fact, the league implemented the flagrant foul the following season.

@enjaykix Amen my brother =)

true knicks fans don't give a fuck if they never won a chip in the 90s. just the playoff runs and the hard work these guys played with was enough. ok, MJ and the bulls won 6 titles that decade but i dont give a shit. the KNICKS were the shit.
-
@jdriscoll2000 Are you stupid?? They didn't beat them in the playoffs. Yes, they probably won some regular season games just like any other team. Come playoff time...they couldn't fuck with the Bulls. The only time the Knicks beat the Bulls in the playoffs was when MJ had retired for the first time. Ole dumbass! So, the Bulls did owned the Knicks.
-
@Domini478 they beat them; they didn't own them. the knicks were the only team during the 1990's that actually gave the bulls trouble
when the knicks are good the city is ALIVE

The 1990's Knicks did moer , with less, than anybody could've ever dreamed of. I wouldn't call them thugs. They were tough, gritty, intense, defensive minded players. Starks, Mason from the CBA. Oakley form a D2 school.
These guys were AWESOME! I think the 1990's Knicks are beloved because of their effort, their desire, and heart.
These guys won with "hustle and muscle" and I LOVED every minute of it. I wish they could've won 1 title, especially for Ewing and Starks. I still love these guys
