Poverty must be fought in the moral construct of a new social order, not government. There are so many fatherless children that need a father to call their own. Half of all U.S. children are now born to a single parent. The best gift to a child is having two biological parents living in harmony and love. The men on the run (there are too many) that give life that they readily abandon must be addressed by a developed secular society. Welfare workers enrich themselves at the expense of the poor.
