@kenzoandhanzo Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's true that Mandarin is recognized as Chinese nowadays, and it’s now called “common language” (普通話) in China. However, it was actually a Beijing dialect (北平話) in the past. In Japan, for example, Mandarin is still being called “Beijing language (北京語).” Cantonese is widely spoken in the South; saying that Cantonese is not Chinese does offend a lot of people, that’s why I wanted to clarify that :)

Cantonese is Chinese. It's just a different dialect of it than Mandarin.

@kenzoandhanzo This video is to introduce Faye's voice to the westerners and most of them cannot differentiate between Mandarin and Cantonese. Therefore i don't have to name the title precisely but instead of it, i just put "chinese version" in general. I am a Chinese dude by the way.

Faye Wong is so beautiful and she does an excellent job remaking this song…sounds so much like the original.
