As to my comment above: I kid, of course, very affectionately. I am a huge fan of Christopher Kent and have learned more about antiques and collectibles from watching his Flea Market Mania show than I would have reading dozens of books on collecting. He is indeed more of a priceless treasure than the sum of everything he's ever appraised!

You did very well with this piece. Now, I'm going to put you on the spot! What do you know about it? Well, it *may* be Miessen, but more likely it was made by Noritake after World War II when they started producing carnival glass tin toys. Still, as an investment? Excellent. Splendid! Now: Bottom Line: I'm going to put it in the $850 to $1,250 range - with the caveat that in auction, it could see more, depending on how the winds blows that day.
