track from his eponymous debut album - 1968
*edit - just seen the album has been rereleased as Grrr (with an original release date listed as 1966 - but anyway my copy says 1968) so a copyright warning has popped up and there are ads on this page - I don't usually post available music but I'll leave this up - the whole album is good - he's young and sounds it*
Quote from the sleeve: "After eight hours of constant playing with only one 15 minute break at midnight, lips burning and nearly falling off, I would slink back home with a great feeling of satisfaction and the hope that I would not be arrested for failure to produce a night curfew pass."
