had this problem with my last UK 300c

@oconano OK..CHECK THIS OUT!!!! THIS IS DIFINITELY A RECALL!!!!.. i went to dodge website went under recall .. when u get to the page its gonna ask u for ur vin# once u type it in itll show u whats recalled..DUDE!! i printed out this paper and went to my local dodge dealer yesterday and they fixed IT FOR FREE!! and i got coffee and donuts well i waited!!... CHECK IT OUT MAN! saved me 400 bucks.

@xdman09x Dude! This happened to me just today. I had to force it down and I heard a pop now it shifts, but It takes a little effort to push it back into park. Ive had my Charger since 2005 and I only have 12,500 miles on it and I have never had this problem before. grrr

Good video man!.. They should RECALL this bullshit!.. i only got 30 thousand miles on my dodge charger and my shit got stuck on park also. i hope i didnt screw it up cuz i forced it out of park i heard a pop and it havent got stuck ever since.. Those bastards at dodge wanted to charge me over $400.00 freaken bucks!!...............W..T..F!­! for a pink ass piece of plastic probably.

instead of buying that piece you all , you can just drill a small hole next to where the little piece broke off and put a cotter pin in it and hook the spring to the cotter pin ! its really simple its just that little piece that broke off no need to go buy another and if its the plastic piece it'll just break again !

@cjwyche, thanks for your comment. I was able to get my 300 out of park and go buy part I need. I was able to buy new shifter assembly from dealer for $66. Now I just need to replace.

I HAVE A QUESTION TO ANY ONE, WHERE THE SHIFT IS DOES IT HAVE A LITTLE LIGHT? WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT IF IT LIGHTS THE LETTERS LIKE THE P, R, N, AND +, -... CUZ MY CAR DOESNT HAVE THE LIGHT AND I REMEMBER IT HAD IT, PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

@doodycarr The picture here is hard to see, but after about an hour searching I found a forum where he posted bigger pics, remove the chrome bezel and look in the opening at the top above the P, you will see a thin wire, use a thin screwdriver to push it to the left...I used a rat tail comb, didn't have a screwdriver, but it still worked
