Council Member Meltdown on the Radio

A citizen from Indian Trail, NC, addressed a recent peeping tom incident involving three sitting town council members and candidates on a regional broadcast of the Vince Coakley Show (WBT 1110 AM). The conversation highlighted the apparent corruption in local government.

The mayor of Indian Trail, John Quinn, called in to give his impressions of recent events.

Toward the end of the show, Councilwoman Darlene Luther, rather than professionally addressing the issue at hand, attempted to smear, malign, slander, and demonize concerned citizens, who exercise their First Amendment Rights, by naming specific individuals and attempting to associate them with terrorists, like Timothy McVeigh.

Did the Council woman at the end of this broadcast ever provide proof for her accusations against the Mayor and the resident? Is she still in office for her alleged illegal meeting or get punished? Hopefully she is not in office !

Vince, calling terrorist a person willing to vote for a 3rd. party candidate make you look really ignorant. You need to read the Constitution.
