in France, the Government belongs to the people. We force our government to respect us.
I love the US, I've lived here for 15 years, but here the people are afraid of the government.

@MrMMABoy You clearly don't understand fractional reserve banking or political back-door dealings. Which is fine. I happen to know about things and am upset by them. If you don't know that you're a slave then you can't be upset about it. I happen to know and I'm upset about it. I'm sorry about rocking the boat and all. I think it's worth doing even if you disagree.
Peace.

It's quite alright. Your comment was made in an emotional state and I understand that. I get that way often too so I don't take it personally.
There are not very Americans that I've met that take things as seriously as I do and so I feel the way you do very very often. This country really IS covered in people who don't think for themselves. We really did, as a country, let Bush get away with murder.
There's a lot going on we don't know about. We should be talking about these things.

I felt bad if I disrespected you and it bothered me all this time I guess...I can tell are decnt American with conscience. So I am sorry!

I do not love it.
I'm not laughing out loud.
I can barely afford to eat. I know a lot of people who are boardering on homelessness. You are correct that most people don't understand what is going on. You are right that they falsely think politicians are good. We are under educated - you're right.
But I don't know how to reconcile myself with this series of facts. I lose sleep over this. I try talking to people, but they don't get it.
What can one do?
[^Not rhetorical.]

That's because even if Americans were to revolt, they'd probably do it for the wrong reasons. Like, reinstate the most Right Wing Republican governement that doesn't care about them. I'm sorry but Americans are stupid creatures! They elected Bush twice!...LOL!!!! Republicans abuse you all the time and you love it!
The france people do once again, what we in germany should have done a long time ago. The managers steal and the poor suffer.

For the love of God. Why don't more people feel enough to revolt when they're being exploited? We, in America, could learn something from this. I mean, didn't America have some kind of revolution at some point in history? Isn't there some kind of American Revolution that we can point to? I'd swear I heard about it somewhere in one of my public education school texts.
I don't get why, in America, we're so apathetic to being treated as a serf class. What the fuck, man? This video is exciting.
