Live At The Birchmere
I Ain't Broke (But I'm Badly Bent)
Well, I'm (I) going back to the country (IV) I can't pay the (I) rent (IV) Lord, I'm not com (I) pletely broke But brother I'm badly bent I can't under (IV) stand where my money (I) went I ain't (V) broke, but I'm badly (I) bent
Well, I had a lot of money But to the city I went I met too many good-looking girls And that's where my money went Now I know just where it went I ain't broke, but I'm badly bent
When I get back to the country I'll be living in a tent Ma and Pa will sure be mad About all the money I spent They can't understand just where it went I ain't broke, but I'm badly bent
Well, now I know just where it went Well, I ain't broke, but brother I'm badly bent

I know Dan used two vintage Martins when playing with AKUS - the one he plays here and another. One of the guitars is a '36 and the other is a '46, I'm just not sure which is which.
