Chapter Eight: All Things...
Boss #27: Claus
Well, here's the finale of Mother 3, the Masked Man... who is actually Lucas's older brother, Claus. A battle to the death against your own family members would possibly be the worst fight ever to do.
BASIC SUMMARY OF MOTHER 3
The world was peaceful once upon a time until an army of pig masked figures started to ruin everything, starting with Lucas's hometown. Destroying the forest and reconstructing animals of the wild, the world was rapidly becoming more ruin by the minute. Families began to fall apart, towns were being destroyed, and everything turned to chaos.
Lucas and his family, which included his older twin brother, Claus, his mother, Hinawa, his father, Flint, and his dog, Boney, were torn apart due to the mysterious pig troops. By reconstructing a drago, once a peaceful and gentle dinosaur, it became extremely violent and attacked Hinawa, killing her. Claus set off to avenge his mother's death, but was killed in the process. Flint set out to look for him day after day but was unable to find him.
As the world changed dramatically and overrun by the pigmasked troops, Lucas discovered a legend that involved Seven Golden Needles. Told that only the Chosen one can pull the needles to determine the fate of the world, by pulling all seven it would awaken a powerful dragon that would either bring peace to the world, or would consume everything. Soon learning that he was indeed the Chosen one, he encountered a masked man that was also able to pull the Golden Needles, but not for the greater good. Soon, it became a race against time.
Traveling across the world searching for the Golden Needles, Lucas and his friends eventually reached a flotaing city called "New Pork City". There, a tower stood over 100 stories tall that housed the evil mastermind behind it all, Porky. Porky was a young boy, but after traveling through time over a 1,000 years or so, he's aged so much taking on an extremely elderly body. Somewhere, the final Golden Needle rested on the floating island, and it was up to Lucas to pull it before the Masked Man.
After making his way to the top of the tower, Lucas and his friends finally confronted Porky, but soon sent them to a strange and bizarre place underground, deep beneath the island. Lucas met up with his father, Flint, who though his search for his missing son was over. Lucas and company confronted Porky head on one last final time and concealed himself in a capsule/chamber that made him invincible, but he was unable to escape from it, sealed inside.
Making their way through the underground world, Lucas and his friends found the last Golden Needle, but the Masked Man blocked their way giving them no choice but to fight. Throughout the fight, Lucas began to realize that Flint was right, he did find Claus... it was the Masked Man... Porky explained before that the Masked Man was his puppet, his slave that he made out of Claus's body and did only what he told him to do, which was to pull the Seven Golden Needles and bring total destruction to the entire world. Flint protected Lucas from Claus's attacks, and with the finishing blow, a badge the reflect lightining, the Franklin Badge, Claus's thunderbolt struck back at him.
In the end, Lucas pulled the Golden Needle... but what happened in the end is a mystery... Was the world saved and peace and justice was brought back, or was it all completely annihilated? The end remains a mystery...
STRATEGY
Everyone but Lucas is going to remain unconscious for the fight. If you try to revive them, the Masked Man will shoot lightning at everyone and will KO them instantly. Lucas will struggle trying to inflict any type of damage whats-so-ever, knowing because his enemy is his twin brother. So you'll have to play defensively for this. Shields can kinda help, but he'll use a Shield Killer often to use PK Love (Omega), so PK Lifeup is your primary action besides defend. Eventually throughout the fight, you'll be able to start inflicting damage on the Masked Man, and will deliever the final blow to himself...
