My own little medley of Mississippi John Hurt's "Since I've Laid My Burden Down" and Elizabeth Cotten's "Freight Train"...on the ukulele! I learned these songs on fingerstyle guitar and transposed them to the ukulele (from key of C to key of F).

  • While I can't comment technically, wonderful listening - there's a purity about the sound. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the kind comment!

  • Love it! Makes me smile :)

  • Thanks Amstecott!

  • that's a really fun sound - there's something playful about the uke - nice work transposing from guitar :-)

  • Yes it sounds so bouncy and happy without the low bass notes and with the high G string. Always a good time playng these old tunes! Thank you for watching and commenting!
