@Firstserger pfft Wonderwall was a ripp from a sixtys song. The Libertines were original, passionate, were playing purely for fun, weren't interested in money or fame. The complete opposite to Oasis. Wonderwalls a shit song anyway

@teeej7869 Actually Carl was very bored by them after a few years of them being around. And Oasis didn't do a single original thing. 'I like The Libertines because they're the first band to have that kind of connection between band and fan... Since Oasis' Noel Gallagher - that just proves it really - the Gallaghers TALK SO MUCH SHIT! The Libertines were the first band ever to have that kind of connection and to give albums away free on the internet. Now thats passion.

The Libs loved Oasis. Oasis loved The Libs. So why can't you just love both?
these conversations going on are bullshit. oasis are one of the greatest bands ever. the libertines are unbelievable and would be just as good IF they were around for as long.
bullshit munchers the lot of you arguing over it.

Now BB Brunes, their an embarrassing band, but the Libertines are deeper than the Strokes and Arctic Monkeys put together...
By the way, has anyone ever noticed how great "Tomblands" is? Like its a little leglected song on the sidebut listen it again, its so good! Especially the bass lignes...
