  • I was just in LA and I wanted to visit this area.

  • this guy is my hero... thanks. make it happen!

  • @rickysatx79 the tunnel is on mateo st.

  • @rickysatx79 yes, there's a tunnel under this bridge, enter at your own risk!

  • Iam planning on going to Los Angeles. Is there a way anyone can walk down there any take photos?

  • More Youtube video should be made this good

  • My new favorite word: infrasculpture.

The eventual demolition of the 6th Street Viaduct will be one of the saddest days of my life as an Angeleno and fan of the Los Angeles River, and I've long feared its replacement would be a span that would be about as aesthetically appealing and historically bankrupt as any nondescript freeway overpass. But this video gives me hope that we can create something special. Thank you for this fantastic piece!

  • and I quote, " There are plenty of people building uninspired glass sky scrapers downtown and fake metropolises like L.A. Live. We need to help preserve and restore the few genuine pieces which are not only beautiful but are rich in historic value."

  • What?! The L.A. City Council Transportation Committee had a meeting on tearing down the bridge last June! And, they voted in favor of fixing it not demolishing it and replacing it. I remember sending out letters on behalf of the preservatio...n efforts underway to the council members. Wth??

  • Good work. Good backstory and information. Great Vision. Let's make this happen.
