Natalie is one the best female performers in the world. She is beautiful, moves with grace, beauty and dignity. Her class and self assuredness suggest a self contained person not needing and unheedful of your approval, and, rightfully so. Thank you for posting.

I think that Natalie Merchant has one of the most incredible voices I have ever heard, but on stage she appears so awkward it sort of creeps me out.

@JasonXP1000 Perhaps it is because so many talented people were talented due to (or inspite of) their inner pain. They created as an outlet, they abused substances (including food) as a outlet..were they afraid of their success...or afraid that it was all a fluke and that they COULDN'T repeat it? Living in fear - day in and day out - in the public eye will make you seek refuge where you can find it.
