  • Surf training fast twitch, stability, cardio and strength, always going to help a surfer.

  • OOPs sorry sauch2000, my bad, not suuch 2000. THKS HR

  • Good use of body weight and bosu ball - remember suuch2000 this is only one training session, variety is key. While I agree the bosu on hack squat may not mimic board position you don't do squats while you surf either do you? However squats train certain movement patterns and stimulate fibers in the legs for strength - the bosu with hack is great for creating knee stability without over loading the nervous system - (don't know if this is what he was training?) however could still be a valid. HR

  • yeah, that's far from a board simulation. I do squats on the Bosu while holding on to weights. Laying on your back doesn't help your core and stability muscles. The standup on the ball is a good one.. never thought of that.

  • im not sure how the hack squat mimics his position on the board??? When im surfing there is no back rest behind me and im not on a 15 degree angle... why not get him just standing on the bosu??
