Thank you so much for posting this rare andwonderful recording. First time I've heard it, though I'm a great fan of both Landowska and Menuhin.

Very good you had written in the description details about this recording. And very beautiful duet.

I have no words to describe the sound of Menuhin's violin. Thanks God this man had a long life, and left so many records to us. Beautiful duet with Landowska. I imagine how this sonata would sound with Menuhin and Gould. I couldn't find any record.....perhaps they never met to play this piece.....at least we have them together in Bach's concerto no 4.

Her life is also fascinating.. From Poland .. to France ..to USA.
Especially her dramatic escape ahead of encroaching Nazis..

These two glorious artists feel the profound divinity in Bach's sublime music so
deeply, I feel it too! Thank you for posting this historic treasure from the past
which speaks with such emotional power today! Marvelous photos! Thanks
to paulostroff99 for sharing!

Superb violin tone. This is lovely.
Interesting interpretation. It is the slowest I've ever come across, but not without charm. However, compared with Oistrach's DG performance, this sounds almost like a rehearsal.
