Waiting Love (A Nelena Story) Episode 9: "Get Rid of Nick"

Continuing from Episode 8 Part 2!

Selena: What did you hear? *nervous*
Demi: MITCHEL IS USING YOU TO GET RID OF NICK!
Selena: He would not!! *thinking about how Mitchel stopped right in front of Nick's house when they were kissing, then gets worried and starts to believe Demi*
Demi: TRUST ME SELENA! I would NOT lie to you!
Selena: Well, what were they saying? *nervous and worried*
Demi: Well, ya know how Cody brought Mitchel over to his locker to talk this morning?
Selena: Oh...yeah...
Demi: Well Mitchel said he was taking you to the prom so Nick wouldn't have anyone to go with!
Selena: Then I guess I'll break up with him...*sighs* I just can't believe it. I found a guy who I thought was perfect but then he just ends up using me to get rid of one of my best friends...
Demi: Well, I gotta go. Good luck Sel.
Selena: Thanks Dems, bye. *they hang up, and she walks to Mitchel's house and knocks on the door*
Mitchel: *opens it* Oh, heyy. I wasn't expecting you. *smiles and kisses her on the cheek*
Selena: Yeah, listen, we gotta talk.
Mitchel: *hoping she doesn't realize he's using her* (A/N: Mitchel does have feelings for Selena, but he's still using her.)
They go upstairs into Mitchel's room and sit on the bed.
Mitchel: So, what's up?
Selena: I think we should break up.
Mitchel: Why? Selena...I love you.
Selena: *thinking: Sure he does...jerk.* Well I do NOT feel the same way about you. You're trying to get rid of Nick!
Mitchel: Oh, who cares? *starts kissing her*
Selena: *pulls away and slaps him* I DO! *stands up and is about to leave but...*
Mitchel: *pulls her back* You are NOT leaving! *sits her back down on the bed*
Selena: *scared*
Selena's phone starts ringing.
Selena: *looks down at her phone and notices it's Nick calling* Please...just give me a few minutes. *lieing* It's my dad and I haven't talked to him in 7 years. He's been in Iraq.
Mitchel: FINE, but HURRY UP!
Selena: *walks into the bathroom and answers her phone, talking quietly so Mitchel can't hear her* Nick! Please help me! I know you're mad but I'm at Mitchel's house and he has me-
Mitchel: TIME IS UP! *swings the bathroom door open*
Selena: *drops her phone on the floor*
Nick: Selena?!?! *really concerned and worried about her* Selena, don't worry! I'll be right there! *hangs up and runs over to Mitchel's house*
Mitchel: *stepping towards Selena* I know you're just leaving me for that jerk Nick. You WILL miss me, but you won't forget me! *punches her really hard* *he realizes what he just did and regrets it*
Selena: *just stands there taking deep breaths*
Mitchel: *pulls her back into his room and sits her down on the bed* Stay here! I'm not letting you go!
Selena: *hoping Nick will be there soon*
WITH NICK
Nick: *running as fast as he can, he finally gets there and opens the door* Selena?
Selena: NICK!!! I'm upsta-
Mitchel: *covers her mouth*
Nick: *runs upstairs and punches Mitchel really hard, he's unconcious, Selena gets her phone and they run back*
Selena: Thanks...
Nick: *hugs her*
Selena: Um, are you still mad at me?
Nick: No...
Selena: *hugs him again*
Nick: *starts crying*
Selena: *lets go* Are you okay?
Nick: I'm just worried about you...
LATER AT SELENA'S HOUSE
Demi calls.
Selena: *answers it* Demi, I broke up with him and he was really mad so he punched me and then Nick came and punched him and he was unconcious so...that's about it.
Demi: Wow...now you have two haters. Mitchel and David. *tries to change the subject* So, I have a feeling you're not going to prom with him anymore, right?
Selena: Of course not...
Demi: Who are you going with then?
Selena: I dunno. You?
Demi: I don't know...
The next day...Saturday...
WITH NICK
Nick: *takes the song he was writing out of the trash (A/N: He threw it in there after he saw Mitchel and Selena kissing in front of his house.) and plays it*
Joe: *walks in* Who are you going to prom with?
Nick: No one...*looking down at the song*
Joe: I think I'm gonna ask Demi.
Nick: Mmmhmm...*doesn't look up*
Joe: Who are you asking?
Nick: *looks up and shrugs then looks back down*
Joe: Selena...?
Nick: She wouldn't go with me.
Joe: Why not?
Nick: *shrugs*
Joe: *dials Selena's phone number and throws the phone to Nick*
Nick: What are you doing?!
Joe: *walks away*
Nick: *sighs*
Selena: Hey Nick!
Nick: Hey, so I was wondering...are you going to prom with anyone yet?
Selena: No...are you?
Nick: *sighs* No...so, uh, do you want to go with me?
