This is the storm that ran up the east coast and devistated a lot of people, homes, property, etc. I don't know what was watching over my family and state but it seems we got the "calm" part out of Irene. The maximum damage she gave was a few uprooted trees and power outages. Nothing compared to down in North Carolina and up in New York City.

In this particular video, I captured the storm after it's "worst" moment for our area. The storm started for us around 5:00p.m. Saturday evening (August 27th). It didn't end until the afternoon of August 28th. The worst part was overnight.

I am sorry for the people who lost their loved ones during this storm.

On a brighter note: "Damn Nature! You Scary!"

  • Well, it's nice to know in our country that most storms in 2011 are devastating and result in this (I was close enough to Joplin, MO to see the damages), so Nature, thou art one heartless bitch.

  • Damn nature! U scary!
