Where i work the tip outs are shared with the cooks, the people that make your food, so next time you decide not to tip the waitress for doing her job or just bringing you your food, remember that you're also not tipping the cooks for making your meal. If the food was shit, service was shit, and you didnt enjoy any part of being there, then yes. It's understandable. But if you enjoyed your food, even if the waiter wasnt the best, remember. you're tipping the cooks too.
