  • Love this, please do a series of them, Can your next interviewer (if you choose to continue) be most similar to the person that misunderstands you most, when you understand that they do not understand you, but they think they do,However as a guest you make your point by remaining as the person they percieved you to be

  • Yeah, I might consider that. This was an experiment more than anything. I do have many stories to share from my quake history so I definitely want to tell those some day! Might talk to a real interview for that though.. or simply keep the interviewer out of the shot.

  • I like how you expressed this, it's a good way to make one understand. I also used to watch Pete's dragon as a kid :) ~ GunnyHath @ GS.

  • Hi gunny! I was hoping most of all that I would show another side of me. I find that when I look in the camera to do video blogs, sometimes it can come off fake.

  • I think interviewing yourself like this is an original and creative way to share a bit about yourself, your thoughts and your feelings - and I completely agree that the things from your childhood directly influence your passions as an adult.

I have to admit though, that I would have enjoyed it better had the interviewer taken the time to ask more questions and would have been less ditsy.

Great idea none-the-less, and I hope you keep experimenting with your videos. :)

  • Great feedback. The original plan was to have someone prissy, but I figured I would make her less knowledgeable instead. Makes sense as it may have taken away the interview answers from her being a distraction.

  • Legolas: Great video and I really enjoyed the fake interview. I used to love Pete's Dragon.

  • Hi Jody, I like that you are experimenting with the format of your video and this is an interesting idea. Have you thought of maybe having someone else play the interviewer role? Doing both roles yourself - it comes across as a little artificial and distracting. I'm guessing that might be difficult though as you would need to find someone who is happy to spare the time.

  • I think your blonde character was spot on. I imagine most gamers have encountered a fair share of naive people who see video games as childish.

I think that that's what made the blonde so funny-- it's because it's something we can relate to.

  • I think you should have punched that blonde in the face. Ignorant bitch:)
