It's true, Ennio Morricone could have just got onto that stage, grabbed the Oscar and yelled About time!. It might be hard for you to understand this, however, men of a certain bygone class don't behave like that. Artists of such caliber accept things as they come for they know that appreciation for their work isn't judged by the number of awards they receive. Few will remember who won an Oscar and who didnt, but when it comes to this genius, it is solely about infinite beauty and immortal fame.
