  • @strad3411 It's amazing that he is doing the 3rd, but no. He did NOT play the up-bow staccato. It's quite famous that he COULDN'T do the up-bow staccato (so couldn't Milstein and Szeryng...) so he changed into spiccato. He also did same thing in Saint-Saens' Introduction and Rondo Capriccoso staccato starts at 3:00
