Her young life has already garnered a lot of success she is one of the most popular singers in the nation. Countless number one singles and international tours that sell out in seconds. As this young star is soaking it all in, shes also making sure to give back.

In 2007, Swift started a year-long campaign with the Governor of Tennessee and the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police to protect children from online predators. The campaign distributed Internet safety information and materials to students and parents across the state.

Swift donated the pink Chevy pick-up truck she got from her record lable to the Childrens charity Victory Junction Gang. Victoria Junction has helped more than 11,000 children with chronic illnesses attend the camp for free.

In 2008, Swift donated all the money she earned at the Country Music Festival from her merchandise sales to various Red Cross relief agencies. By winning Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, she automatically donated $10,000 to her charity of choice - St Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
In response to the flood in Iowa in 2008, she donated $100,000 to the Red Cross in Cedar Rapids.

Swift supports @15, a teen-led social movement site that allows teens to make a difference through an established platform. According to the site, teens are in complete control of the content and what is discussed. Teens decide where the money raised through the companys philanthropy is donated and can create various social movements with other like-minded teens through the site. Swift appears in a promotional video on the site talking about her teen experiences and encouraging others to support various causes and make a difference.

In late 2009, Swift performed in Justin Timberlakes Shriners Hospital for Children Golf Open charity concert in Las Vegas in order to raise funds for the hospital. She also appeared on BBCs Children in Need annual telethon where she performed live. After the performance, she announced she would donate $20,000 of her own money to support the cause. The Children in Need telethon raises money for various charities in the UK that are dedicated to helping children.

Swift also donated her prom dress to donatemydress.org. The dress raised $1,200 for charity. Her largest donation to date came on her 20th birthday in December 2009. Swift donated $250,000 to various schools around the country. She has either attended these schools or been involved with them somehow. With that money, teachers can be paid, books can be bought and other related programs can be created and maintained.
